To create a steel tumbler that not only insulates heat, but provides substantial warmth as well.
This mug was designed with the intention of back-country camping.
The cork sleeve works as a multi-functional tool, in which the cup may float on the water if lost when canoeing, or deaden the sound of cups clanging together if hung outside the hiking bag.
When the lifespan of the cork comes to an end, it can be replaced by another sleeve by simply sliding it on the mug.
The overall goal of the sleeve, is to work as a buffer and insulate the heat of a hot cup, whilst providing warmth to hands.
The tumbler and handle are made of stainless steel
The sleeve is agglomerated cork for its wear, water, and heat resistant properties
